When working with a Relational Database Management System (RDMS), you will want to create a database to store your information.

When using Microsoft SQL Server’s SQL Server Management Studio, just open it and login with a SQL login with appropriate permissions to create a database.

There are 2 ways to create a database, just right click on Databases folder and select “New Database” as in the picture below.

  1. Visually in SSMS

Next, just type your database name and click OK button.

2. With SQL Command

Open a new query window and type the following SQL Command:

Your database have been created and you can use it.
